As much as I want to chant along to ” (Swipe swipe swipe)
It’ll never decline ” swiping on a card with $0.70 isn’t something you want you to do. You probably thinking oh gosh wish I was a billionaire (me too). Although I am going to share some money saving tips I don’t guarantee that you will become a billionaire LOL and I can’t promise that you will have a handle on your money afterward because it’s taking me a while to avoid being broke half the time. Here are 3 tips you can use to save money:
- Have A Budget
I hate to break it down to you but budgeting is not for the rents only. You have graduated varsity/high school and the real world is calling and so is your wallet. Basically, budgeting is creating a plan to spend your money. It ensures that you’ll have enough money for things that you need and keeps you away from debt. You do not owe anyone an explanation on what you budget for.
2. Track where your money is going on
Always be honest with yourself about where your money is going. Where do you spend your money the most? What do you constantly buy the most? Get into the habit of tracking your spending regularly, like once a day or once a week.
3. Create a financial bucket list
Want to buy an iPhone? Saving up for a new wardrobe? Whether its clothes or a phone, it’s not a bad idea to set up a financial vision board as it can help you budget well.
Cheers to saving money xx
